I thought it would be fun to get really depressed so I decided to calculate my "hourly wage" for live streaming on Greg's Arcade for the last week. I took the total advertising income from my streams ($11.53) and added my super chat revenue ($2.94) for a total income of $14.47. I divided that by the time I spent streaming (11.57 hours) to get 1.25. I make $1.25 per hour live streaming. 623 people on average watched each stream with a total view count of 4366. Each view generated .2 cents which means it takes approximately 5 views to earn a penny on each video.
