My name is Volda/Rachel, I am an 18-year-old female service dog handler and apprentice dog trainer. My service dog is Dexter(AKC Stolz Von Winters), a three year old purebred Siberian husky. He is task trained to assist me with my multiple disabilities including type 1 diabetes, memory loss, extreme heat/light sensitivity, sensory disorder, chronic fatigue, pain, and migraines, and depression and anxiety. Dexter is a fully trained service animal under the American with disabilities. I got Dexter in January of 2018 to be my ESA, he helped a lot but in fixing some of my mental issues my other issues became more apparent, I knew I needed him for more than just emotional support. He became my service animal in April of 2018. After many ups and downs dexter turned into the wonderfully trained service animal he is today. We are not perfect and believe it is important to show the realities of training a husky, sd training, and dealing with disabilities. Subscribe and follow my socials!
