Welcome to the Diamond Mounter channel. A place where I aim to document tips, tricks, methods and techniques learned over the previous 25 years making jewellery by hand.
Trained by some of the best jewellers in the UK, highly qualified with multiple awards I represented the UK in the world skill olympics competition. I have experience not just at the bench but also dealing directly with customers discussing their preferences then designing pieces especially for them. I have a great deal of knowledge to share.
I was a familiar face around Hatton Garden the jewellery quarter for many years and am known personally by gem dealers, setters, polishers and shop owners in the Garden.
Recently I left London to raise my children in Japan and so now have this opportunity to create video content to help those starting out in jewellery making and others with experience to raise their skill level.
