Team Event Horizon is a global gaming group specializing in Quake 3 trick-jumping. Founded in 2004, we popularized freestyle team tricking, which we have since expanded into a variety of DeFRaG game modes.

Meaning of the Team Name: Event Horizon was chosen for the team name not as an astronomical term or the movie but to explain that this team is always bringing new things, and going beyond the regular boundaries to show things never done before. When the sun comes up over the horizon it is the shining representation of a new day and new ideas.
