Lucky Luke is a lonely cowboy travelling through the far-west. Accompanied by his faithful destrier Jolly Jumper and almost with each episode by Rantanplan the dog prison warder which is lost regularly in the West while wanting to follow Lucky Luke or to find its prison. He is confronted against various gangsters and shadies such as The Daltons, Billy The Kid, Jesse James or Phil Defer.
