We are back on the road touring, May 2025, with an feature film i contributed footage to. I saw Maya and the Wave premiere in Nazaré Portugal. A must see! The director Stephanie Johnes has done a remarkable film featuring the extraordinary story of female big wave surfer Maya Gabeira.
Maya overcame near-fatal injury, gender barriers, and industry skepticism to achieve unprecedented success in the male-dominated world of big wave surfing.
This film will inspire all. Beautiful ocean images combined with a an amazing story of achievement and dedication.
Maya and the Wave is touring Australia in May 2025 with a premiere in North Sydney on the 6th of May at the Orpheum, followed by the Randwick Ritz in Sydney on the 7th may. More info www.asmf.net.au
