Apologies for the lack of fresh videos, my friends. SAR operations have taken up a good portion of my usual radio time in three of the past four weekends. There are a few videos in the hopper including a comparison of HTs in a high RF environment, a run-through if what I carry in my Coaxsher chest harness that @HamRadioCrashCourse recently reviewed, and a review of the mods I've done to the MTR3B. I'll be on a Mojave Road excursion this weekend, hopefully with a SOTA or two, so there may be a trip video coming from that one too. Thanks for your patience as I get pulled away from video fun to go help others in need, so that others may live.

It's #GivingTuesday!
I choose not to monetize my channel, but if you appreciate the videos I produce, consider donating today to a non-profit near and dear to my heart - the San Diego Mountain Rescue Team.
www.sdmrt.org/donate/
Formed in 1967, the team is an auxillary organization to the San Diego Sheriff's Department. We are professional volunteers who train to a high level of proficiency in tracking, technical rope rescue, mountaineering, and medical. We are a FEMA "Type 1" Mountain Search and Rescue team meaning we can operate in any conditions or elevation for an extended amount of time.
Financially, the team is entirely self-supported, relying on member dues, donations, and grants for our equipment, insurance, and other expenses.
I've been a member since 2005, and the team members are some of my best friends who I refer to as my second family, we spend so much time together.
So consider donating and supporting this cause. As a 501.c.3 organization, donations are tax deductible. www.sdmrt.org/donate/
Thanks!

The channel it 2k subscribers today which tells me I'm doing at least some things right with my work here. I don't get to put out videos as often as I'd like, but I always try to make them entertaining and/or educational. I certainly say that I have fun making them!
So, thank you all for joining me in my adventures and projects. Hope to hear your call coming back to my CQ on the next summit.

I'll be joining Jason, KC5HWB, of Ham Radio 2.0 this evening to talk antennas. Fair warning: I'm a mechanical engineer who's figured out a few things when it comes to this voodoo RF stuff, but I still have plenty to learn. Hopefully some of what i've figured out will be helpful to you!

Hello YouTube friends! I'm Adam, K6ARK, a ham radio geek who operates mostly outdoors. On my channel, you'll find videos of my SOTA adventures and portable radio-related projects. Hope you have as much fun watching these videos as I do making them.
