I mean, the level of creative self-deception and pathological ideological commitment needed to concoct this narrative…I’m honestly impressed. 😂 I’d love to know how this guy interprets the rest of the Bible or if the LGBTQ+ issue is the only issue requiring this level of verbal origami and contortion. I feel like this approach to Bible interpretation is becoming more common (call it the Robertson Method); i.e., stating things about the Bible that are clearly and easily provable lies, but stating them with such conviction and coherence that the public becomes easily deceived because these lies reinforce what they want the Scriptures to say.
