Rain has returned to Northern Uganda, marking the start of the second planting season. I made a quick visit to the banana farm today and couldn't leave without picking up some matooke (Mbwazirume) for the family. Farming is truly rewarding!

I haven't uploaded any new videos for a few weeks because I've been busy working on my garden and assisting some followers who have come to farm in Northern Uganda. More content is on the way, so stay tuned!

Today, I had the privilege of visiting Laker Becky Oweka, the Youth Councilor for Bardege Layibi City Division in Gulu City.

Becky is a seasoned urban rabbit farmer in Kabedopong, Gulu City, with over a decade of experience since she began in 2014. Her passion for rabbits, sparked in her youth, has led her to successfully raise over 1,000 rabbits in a compact space.

Her story is truly inspiring, demonstrating that one can start small in farming and still achieve great success. During our visit, Becky shared her journey and extensive knowledge of rabbit farming. She provided valuable insights into breed selection, feeding, housing, and marketing.

Becky also emphasized the importance of productive work for the youth, urging them to avoid alcohol and contribute to eradicating poverty in Northern Uganda.

Stay tuned for the full conversation this week!
