What's going on Gamers! Phil H here again.
Just wanted to firstly say a huge thank you to everyone who helped us surpass the 5,000 subscriber milestone in the last 24 hours. We've hit the point where we are eligible for monetisation so it's a huge help in us being able to justify investing more time than we already do in producing videos for you all. We wanted to give you a roadmap for our next couple of months worth of content and get some feedback directly from our community on what videos you'd like to see.
At present we have the following ideas set in stone and are actively working towards creating and publishing them:
1) How Manta Style Actually Works (Including Illusion Runes)
2) How Hero-Created Illusions and Clones Actually Work (follow up to Manta Style)
3) How Spirit Vessel Actually Works
4) How Break Actually Works
We also have these video ideas sitting in the pipeline to eventually be made depending on demand:
• How Armlet of Mordiggian Actually Works
• How Smoke of Deceit Actually Works
• How Revenant's Brooch Actually Works
• Why Shadow Blade makes you a worse player
• Why Arcane Blink is the ultimate regen item
• How Assault Cuirass Actually Works
We'd like to hear from you all directly which videos you'd most like to see prioritised which are currently in the pipeline. The Spirit Vessel and Break videos are directly due to community feedback so any suggestions made by the community are listened to and prioritised in the order of creation and publication. If there's any items that aren't in this list that you'd like us to cover please don't hesitate to throw them in the comments and we'll add them to our list and send them forward in priority. What's going on gamers! It's Phil H here.
We've just passed 1,000 subscribers, doubling our community in the last week alone.
I'm incredibly humbled by the response to our Nullifier video. Thank you to all of you who have reached out and left kind words as well as constructive criticism. There's a lot of research that goes into each video yet I still learn a fair amount from those who come and watch what we put out. Credit to you all for bringing plenty of knowledge to the table yourself and correcting us when we forget something or bringing clarification to a niche mechanic when we can't wrap our heads around why a certain spell or item doesn't work the way we believe it should. We're always looking to improve what we're doing here in not only the information but also the presentation/production in order to make some of the best and most engaging DOTA 2 educational content available on YouTube.

While the in-game tutorial has been a massive improvement to the overall quality of the player base; as the years have gone on and heroes have been released and updated, our dear developers haven't always been that clear about what has actually changed and what each skill or item can do when utilised to the fullest. That's where we come in! Here you'll find comprehensive mechanical tutorials that aim to not focus too much on the numbers and instead give you a holistic view of each item or ability we're highlighting. Understanding their inherent playstyle strengths, weaknesses and mechanical combos that aren't immediately obvious from their skill descriptions.
