💌  To my (around 900) dearest subscribers who watched my Patchwork Tie Dress video as soon as it was uploaded last night, and to the 5 subscribers who left comments

I had to remove the first uploaded video because I mistakenly included a copyrighted song, and it got flagged for copyright infringement. So, I had to delete and re-upload the video, which unfortunately erased your precious 800 views and 5 comments. If you see this, please leave your comments again! I would love to respond.

I really appreciate your support! I really do!

Let's make a fabric bookmark!

These little projects are perfect for using up precious scraps of your favourite fabrics and are also a motivation-boosting palate cleanser in between larger, complicated projects. Now that I’m part of a book club, I can never have too many laying around and they make great gifts. :)

Happy Sewing!

Hello, friends!

Make a scrappy denim tote with me!

My latest Sewing School episode with @CBCLife is ready for viewing on their YouTube channel and in it you’ll see how to use all those denim scraps from our jean upcycling project to make a creative and durable denim tote. Mine has become my daily companion to hold all my sewing bits and bobs to and from work. Tag me to show me your version - I can’t wait to see how you use your creativity!

📽️My new video about the Waterfall Dress is up!

Thanks so much for your patience while waiting for this video. While making this video, I lost some sewing clips and subsequently lost my motivation to resume for a while. After a break, I'm happy to have returned and to have finally finished this dress.

This beautiful cotton ikat fabric is sponsored by Needle Sharp (needle-sharp.com/) and they are offering 15% all fabric for your next project with code SEWINGTHERAPY.

The Waterfall Top and Dress pattern is sponsored by Sycamore Road Patterns (sycamoreroadpatterns.com/) and I’m so happy I finished this lovely dress in time for the fall season! They are also offering you 15% off Waterfall until September 9th with code SEWINGTHERAPY!

I hope you enjoy! 😉💕

My Double Loop Headband Sewalong Video is up on CBC Life’s channel on YouTube! This is a fun scrap busting project, one I consider a sewing “palate cleanser” in between larger projects. Sewing a few of these Double Loop Headbands is really satisfying and gratifying, with so much room for your creativity to shine.

Head over to ‪@CBCLife‬ on YouTube to view the entire tutorial!

Hello, friends! :) My 3rd Collab Video with ‪@CBCLife‬ is up and ready for viewing on their YouTube Channel! This video is all about making Buttonholes and attaching Buttons with a sewing machine!

I love sewing shirts but after I’m done sewing them, they often lay waiting in WIP pile for me to make buttonholes and attach buttons. Using your machine is probably the most efficient way to complete this final step and you can watch how I do this, including all my tried and true tips to make the process as smooth as possible.

Check out his video on CBC Life YouTube Channel! Thanks so much for your support!
