Apologies for not managing to get a video out, it's been a bit of a rough week.
My wife was bitten by a feral kitten at the start of the week, and overnight her arm became very swollen and had red thick lines running up it, accompanied by pain in her armpit.
She went to the doctors and was told she had to go to hospital which is an hours drive away from where we live.
We spent 10 hours waiting in A&E (ER) until she was admitted, and spent 3 days in hospital on high strength antibiotics administered by IV.
She's out now and doing OK, but I think we both picked up some flu bug from sitting in A&E for so long.
I had been waiting for parts for a few items, but unfortunately was too unwell to finish off the repairs when the parts arrived on Friday.
I've hardly been out of bed the last 3 days hence not replying to comments etc.
Hopefully we'll all be good in a few days, and I'll upload something when I'm feeling a bit better.
I just thought I'd let you all know what's been going on.
Best wishes and have a great Christmas.
Mick

We've had a bit of a rough week with two new premature arrivals! We've been hand rearing these two little girl Valais lambs as their mum hasn't been able to do so. It's been like having newborn twins in the house with bottle feeding and lack of sleep.
We thought we might lose one of them at one point, with it's breathing not being very good and it not being able to stand or walk. They are both doing well now, and are both on their feet π
Hopefully I'll have a new repair video to upload soon!π

2000 Subscribers! WOW! You guys are simply amazing!
When I started doing repair videos I had, and probably still have, a lot of self doubt.
I was getting disheartened when I did a video, and it got a hundred or so views, and similar video's were getting 30-50k views!
I wasn't sure if the video's were "good enough", if people liked my voice / accent (sounds weird listening to your own voice recorded), and if people would like and even subscribe to my channel.
It's been quite a learning curve over the past few months, from learning to edit video, learning how to do thumbnails, and trying not to feel silly talking to myself while recording (although I'm actually talking to you my audience!).
My little channel is growing, and hopefully my content and editing skills are improving over time!
So I'd just like to say thanks to everyone for subscribing and liking my video's!
Again I'm humbled and appreciate all of the positive comments, it really helps!
I'd also like to thank βͺ@Mymatevinceβ¬ for his support and shout out on his channel!
If you like my video's and haven't checked Vince's channel out, I'd recommend it!
Again massive Thanks to you all!

In these videos I attempt to repair various items. Can I fix them?
I've been interested in electronics and computers since I was a child, and that was quite some time ago! (although some may argue that I still act like a child at times!). When I was a kid I used to take things apart to see how they worked, and occasionally could manage to put them back together!
My career started repairing amusement machines and video games back in the 80's - 2000's as I've always liked computer games and electronics.
I've also written computer software, and built and designed various circuits over the years, like making things with Arduino type boards and reverse engineering hardware and software.
