Two months ago I went to one of the biggest painting conventions in Germany.
I even have a video report from there, which you can watch right now for FREE on Patreon

This is the Magic Triangle of Miniature Painting.
It explains why beginners struggle so much.
You can pick two, but never all three:
- High quality, fast — tons of effort. (think box art commission)
- High quality, low effort — slow. (like stipple glazing)
- Fast, low effort — costs quality. (quick tabletop painting)
But here's the catch:
When you're starting out, your triangle looks very different (see 2nd image, red line).
It takes way more effort to get the same results as an average painter.
The solution?
Either balance the 3 factors in the right way or increase your skill level.
That way, the "effort" corner shrinks inwards.
I broke this down in way more detail in my emails — including what the Master Triangle looks like and how to push just one factor to the max.
You missed it?
Make sure you’re on the list next time.👇
