Ladies and gents, and everyone else too for that matter... Today, this channel arrived at a big milestone:
100 000 followers!
I must admit that I was highly sceptical of Youtube when I started this channel. After all, I had my own streaming platform (I still do: www.campfire-stories.org/film-library), and why would I allow my films to be dragged through the dirt of a commercially financed platform like Youtube?
I will readily admit though, that the reach turned out to be a little bit different once I connected my films with the second most visited website globally: Youtube. I don't think my film "Once Upon a Forest" would've reached over a million people had I left it exclusively on my own platform. Or "Into the Soil" over 600K. Just to mention two.
So, commercially driven or not, today I celebrate the fact that I hitched my wagon to Youtube a few years ago (when was it? Gosh, maybe four years ago?). And I celebrate the fact that we reached 100 000 followers here.
And chances are, if you're reading this, that you're one of them. So what I'm really celebrating today is you!

Hello everyone!
I'd like to hereby invite you to the release event for the film Radical Neighbouring. We'll meet up on Zoom on June 1st @ 11 am EST / 5 pm CET.
