The Anatolian Shepherd Dog is a livestock guardian dog, meaning he is in charge of watching over a flock and protecting the defenseless animals from predators. In modern-day Turkey, where the breed originated, Anatolian Shepherd Dogs are still used to guard flocks and property.
Our Kaizer was born on the 21st of July 21, he is a pet dog but he goes for a walk at least 2 to 3 times daily around the housing area on leash and in the forest(his happy place) where he can go run wild and free and also goes to the field for a playdate with his group of friends every night. He is very well socialised from the day we got him (8 weeks old). He loves people and his friends, he loves our kids, protects our property from hedgehogs, owls and possums lol. He can still be rough and play bites and he doesn't realized his strength sometimes. He is such a loving Anatolian puppy and we love him so much, we are his flock.
