If you haven't seen my video, I've been spending the last several months, most of the year actually, producing a new web series which recently launched on YouTube! If you have time and could use a laugh, go check out youtube.com/@LolaLaRue for the new series! We have one more episode to post and that's it for the first series. We're hard at work on the next series. I am going to try and get at least one perfume ranking video up in the next few weeks, though.

We aren't live streaming tomorrow because - good news - we are allowed to go back to Sunrise in person! The Omicron lockdown has ended. But if you enjoyed our live streams, we will probably do more in the future, I'm just not sure when or under what circumstances. We might try to record and then upload some of our performances at Sunrise. Only time will tell what happens. But we have a few Wednesdays archived and you can just pretend we're doing it live.

We've done 2 live streams so far and another one is happening this week. We plan on doing this until the assisted living facility we go to (Sunrise) goes out of Omicron lockdown.
In other news, I still have a lot of work! Not sure if it will continue, but it is a relief while it lasts. As a result, my other videos might not roll out like I would like. I've got to hit my work deadlines and will make videos as time permits.

Hello! Tomorrow at around 3:30 pm Pacific, my friends and I are going to livestream for about an hour of songs for a singalong. Usually we would go sing live at an assisted-living center in the LA area, but they have closed their doors to visitors for a few weeks because of the uptick in COVID-19 cases. We still want to do the singalong with them, so we're trying out a livestream of it! We take requests, but the piano player doesn't know many songs that were written after about 1970, so nothing "modern." You've seen her in a few of my other recent videos, Ruth Allen. So if you are around and want to throw out a request, please do. Otherwise, we might be broadcasting to an audience of one computer somewhere in Valencia, California as the people we see each week gather together in isolation for an afternoon of fun and diversion.

Hello. I suddenly got very busy with work. And with the upcoming holidays, I'm not sure I'll be able to get another video out until early next year. That's just how it goes sometimes. I'm glad to have work. If I don't get to a video, I hope everyone has a great rest of the year.

I've got jury duty this week, so I didn't plan a video just in case. Winky is doing ok. He's been hiding from me for the past two days, which hopefully doesn't mean anything other than he's tired of all the togetherness.

I posted a new video today, but I also wanted to include a note to let everyone know that one of my cats, Winky, was attacked by a coyote a few weeks ago. It has been a rough few weeks, but at his last vet checkup on Friday, the vet declared that he is "out of the woods" and on his way to recovery.
I've got a few more of my Hollywood 9 to 5 videos written and just need to shoot and edit them. I don't have any "real" work lined up, so I should be able to devote some time to YouTube for now.

Hi. I just wanted to post an update about why it is taking me so long to get my next Hollywood 9 to 5 video up. First of all, the good reason: I've had a lot of work! After COVID shutting down a lot of production and movie releases for over a year, things are starting to pick up to an almost normal pace. Cross your fingers for me and my bank account that this continues.
And now the bad reason, last week a dear friend of mine killed herself. Getting through the past week has been tough and stopped a lot of my momentum. I'm starting to return to a somewhat normal state. I'm also extremely close with her family - her mother is one of my very best friends - and when I've had some time off from work I've been spending it with them.
Anyway, if you are struggling, please ask for help. Suicide is not the answer, unless you want everyone you love to be absolutely miserable. There are probably easier ways to make everyone else miserable, though, with less devastating results.
I did a cover version of one of my friend's songs, which I might have posted to this channel - "Someone Told Me." She also did the illustrations for my novel and has written several novels herself, which you can buy lots of different places. Please do a search for A. R. Meyering if you get the chance.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm not going to be posting a tap video 5 times a week. I've run through most of the steps I know, with just a few more lined up. I'm going to start some choreography and that takes more time, so I can't post as often once I get to work on that.

It started out as how-to crafting videos, but as I've evolved, it has evolved. Now featuring a lot of music/singing, and the tap tutorials I've been making during lockdown. Who knows what will happen next?
