We have a new car in the stable, an Alfa Romeo Mito 1.3 JTD. We are going to do a service on it so stay tuned for that.

In under 4 hours the disco was stipped down and the rusty rear 1/2 chassis was cut off and out, Outstanding work by Mark B and myself in monsson conditions at some stages.

Derek the Disco 2 is being prepped for a new 1/2 chassis, which we hope to install over the bank holiday weekend. Wish us luck, and stay tuned for a video.

A few photo's from our recent tour of the Alps, we drove through France, down to Monaco, up the Monte Carlo Rally route, popped into Susa in Italy, then around Mont Blanc in Switzerland. The Maz didn't miss a beat, in total we did 2300 miles and ave 19.9 mpg. The worst tank was 12.8 mpg, the best 26 mpg !!

Project Mini Clubman was almost finished, then on Saturday it started running on 3 cylinders. No compression on cyl 4 so looks like a valve may have dropped. Time for a strip down .....

The Disco 4 retro-fit heated steering wheel is now installed and working on our Disco 3, part 2 of the video is coming soon.
