Sailing in the Black Sea! - First steps into Sailing
Ahoy! Axel and I are here with an update for all of you who follow our adventure!
We haven't been editing videos for Patreon or Youtube lately as we have been pretty busy and it's now time to share some interesting stuff with you.
Axel has had a few work-related courses to catch up on - such as a refresher course for operating the emergency rescue boats at sea - and I have recently joined SetSail Nautic School in Bucharest. So I can say I have officially started the real sailing journey!
The course started with three weeks of sailing theory lessons in Bucharest. I feel I learned so much with the help of the wonderful instructors from SetSail: from boat terminology, boat construction, boat installations & systems, Danube & interior waters navigation, COLREG & maritime navigation, to First aid, Safety at sea.
The theory was then followed by three days of practice sessions from morning till night time in a beautiful little private harbour at the Black Sea. I learned so much and was glad to experience manoeuvring slender little monohulls, mooring, anchoring and sailing on a beautiful afternoon in 6knots of wind. The last day of practice was marked by the presence of a representative of the Romanian Naval Authority who shared best practices, tested and approved our course.
The adventure has just begun! We'll share more soon!

Sorry for not posting a new episode yesterday. We've been pretty busy back home. Axel has started work again and I've been sorting and preparing our footage and material for the upcoming videos, among other household chores.

We are travelling and have not been able to make a video this week.... We are in KL on our way back to Wilda.

Hello everyone and sorry for not posting a new episode this weekend!
Axel has had to fix a knee and he is feeling well and recovering according to plan. We took some time off to rest and weβll be back next Sunday as usual. All the best to you all! π€

Hello everyone! We are glad to let you know that we're back in Australia. We have been too busy this week getting everything sorted, so we will not have a video up today. Sorry about that. But we have started working on Wilda and we have a lot more to share. Below is just a teaser for the upcoming video!

We took a short (visa) and boat work break. Now itβs time for us to return to Wilda! Travelling back from Europe to Australia!
Axel had a little operation, we will share a bit more on that later, but he has been recovering well! He also shaved π¬!
