π St. John Vianney π
(May 8, 1786 β August 4, 1859)
Born amidst the chaos of the French Revolution, St. John Vianney witnessed firsthand the bravery of priests who risked their lives to bring the Eucharist to the faithful. Despite the anticlerical terror of the times, young Vianney saw these priests as heroes, and his faith only deepened.
His journey towards the priesthood was fraught with challenges, learning his First Holy Communion catechism from nuns who had lost their convents, and receiving the sacraments in secret. His devotion to the Traditional Latin Mass became the cornerstone of his spiritual life.
Today, as the Traditional Latin Mass faces challenges, let us remember the words of St. John Vianney: βOh my soul, how grand thou art that only God himself can satisfy thee.β In the Eucharist, we find the true satisfaction of our souls and the profound worship God deserves. Our organization is dedicated to helping priests learn and be nourished by this sacred liturgy, keeping alive the rich traditions that St. John Vianney held so dear.
