it's been decided that the Master Tape uploads will be split into three, Series 1, The Girl in the Fireplace and The Impossible Planet (the Series 2 theme will be thrown in as a standalone upload)

discovered a few things while looking at the DoctorWho_Pc exe file in the adventure games, for instance:
the portal technology used in the gunpowder plot appears to be present in the files of season one but goes unused, however it was tested in certain maps according to lead programmer james sutherland such as the ice plateau in blood of the cybermen.
various XML files and bbc test links are listed, most have gone offline but there’s still a few that are still up, the 2_1 bug patch note is one of them
files using the C++ format are present here but either go unused or were just an alternate script format used for the maps…probably the first one.
the old name of episode four (Shadows Of The Deep) is mentioned in a now removed download link, neat
and last but not least, console ports supposedly for the first season of the adventure games is mentioned in the files and seems to have controller support for said consoles such as the Wii, PS3 and XBox 360 but were never used / released, the DS and PSP are also mentioned but like…god knows what that would’ve been like if it went through 💀
