Michał Hochman is a legendary figure of the Lublin bohemia of the 1960s.
He made his debut as a teenager in the National Review of Artistic Groups in Wrocław.
In the 1960s he promoted, among others, the song "Konik na polenie". He won numerous awards and distinctions in competitions, plebiscites and singing fairs. In 1966, he performed at the Polish Song Festival in Opole. He recorded for the third program of Polish Radio.
In 1968, the Hochman family was forced to emigrate from Poland.
He dreamed of a stage career, but he educated and worked in the field of planning and environmental protection in the United States. He returned to Lublin for the first time in 1986 with a concert organized by his friends, "Return to Home". Currently, he gives concerts all over the world.
