Hi everybody,
As I’m sure many of you know by now, the Central Railroad of New Jersey heritage unit is running on the Bay Head shuttle. I’ve been running around like a total madman the past few days, trying to get as many shots as possible. Rather than posting many individual videos, I’ve decided to make a compilation of everything I’ve shot during its tenure in Bay Head. Currently, the video is running at around 40 minutes… and that’s edited! I’ll post the video when the engine leaves, which hopefully is later rather than sooner. Stay tuned!

Alright, fine, I’ll do a face reveal of sorts. I try not to talk about myself too much for the sake of humility, but I can’t resist posting this picture of myself. My college career ceremoniously came to a close this past weekend, and what a mix of emotions it was. I want to thank all of you for your support over the years. This channel helps keep me sane while providing something meaningful to do with my free time. I couldn’t have gotten to this point in my life without each of you. And for that, I am forever grateful.

Hi everyone. I hope you’re all doing well. I figured I’d use the community tab to update you all on recent events in my life. These events have caused a backlog of videos, which I am just starting to catch up on.
First, let’s get the negative news out of the way. I was sick for over a month, first with a sinus infection which then led to Covid. It seems that my health is finally beginning to bounce back, but the constant sickness caused me to lose some interest in trains, which meant I wasn’t motivated to edit existing videos. The peak of the illness also coincided with final exams, so I had to put the little energy I had into studying.
Focusing on school paid off. Today, I confirmed that I earned my Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Rutgers University. I will be graduating Magna Cum Laude, a feat that I consider to be the most outstanding achievement of my life so far. I’m not quite sure what I want to do next regarding my education, but I am almost certain that I want to pursue a Master's degree soon. I am blessed to have a full-time job as an Assistant Engineer, focusing mainly on structures and highway infrastructure. A dream come true!
Regarding this channel, I fully expect content to ramp up as we get closer to the warmer months. I have my weekends free again, allowing me to spend at least some of that time railfanning. However, since I am in my career now, the job is my priority (other than spending time with family). I’m beyond excited to begin this new chapter in my life, and I hope to see you all trackside soon!
