We are gonna be at the ‘23 Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta this weekend!, October 7-9. Anyone else headed that way? We’d love to see you there! 👋
We found out just a few weeks ago that we were gonna be able to go in place of a friend who couldn’t make it. We are excited to be able to RV camp there AND help out a balloonist with this balloon! 👏

Our YouTube Channel hit 10,000 Subscribers last night! 🙌 We spent the evening on a Sunset Cruise along Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and this was an incredible end to an amazing day! 🌇 What does this mean to us? 10,000 lives we have an opportunity to impact, encourage and inspire 😊Here is our story ~
We started this channel almost three years ago after sharing a mountain bike ride we took with Rhonda's Dad, Charlie, at the age of 77! We decided to post this over the hill adventure to memorialize that special time and to encourage others who were "over the hill" to get active and find their new adventure. 🚵🚵♀️
Shortly after, in November of 2020, we picked up our new 2021 Grand Design Imagine 2500RL and began to share our RV adventures, coupled with our mountain bike adventures, RV Tips and How-To's, and set out on this crazy journey!
We both retired in 2019, Stan from a 27 year law enforcement career🚨and Rhonda from the local school district. 🏫 All four of our kids were married off so we sold our home in Big Bear Lake, California and moved to Lake Havasu, Arizona which we call our home base. 🥵
We have traveled over 33,000 miles, visited 24 states and 30 National Parks in our @GrandDesignRVTV 🛣️ We have a saying, we go hard when we are on the road!😅😅 We don't believe in wasting the gift of time, because we know we are not guaranteed tomorrow.
We have both had some health scares in the past. We know God has given us this second chance and we will make the most of the time God has given us. In 2012, Stan had a stroke and in 1999, Rhonda was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer. We have both fully recovered and give all the glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. ✝️ We are on a mission to share the Light of the Lord wherever we go and to encourage others to find their new adventure!

I OFFENDED HER! It was a crisp, Fall morning in Olympic National Park. Before our hike to Marymere Falls, Rhonda stopped to use the restroom and was shocked by what the ranger told her 🫢We didn't let it ruin our hike and ended up at the quaint, historic Lake Crescent Lodge. WILL WE FIT?? In this episode, we finally arrive to Olympic National Park after traveling up the Pacific Coast on highway 1 🙌 When we first get there, we RV camp at Mora Campground inside Olympic National Park in a spot we weren't quite sure our Grand Design Imagine 2500RL would fit in. Mora is one of the most beautiful campgrounds we have ever stayed in. Come with us as we explore the beautiful beaches of Olympic NP and explore the city of Forks, the setting for the Twilight Series!

In this episode we journey to the North side of Olympic National Park with hopes we can get a first-come, first-served campsite at Heart O' The Hills campground 🙏 We take our e-bikes on the Olympic Discovery Trail, a Rails-to-Trails route, making friends along the way and traveling across an old bridge originally built in 1926 high above the Elwha River. 👏

Stan and Rhonda with Over The Hill Adventures retired in 2019 and chose RVing as their new adventure. They live in Arizona and consider themselves more-timers because they always want more time on the road. Stan and Rhonda currently travel a little more than part-time with their dog, Molly in their new 2024 Grand Design Influence 2903RL. They are passionate about helping people by sharing their travel destinations, RV Tips & Tricks and How-To's.
It is their goal to encourage and inspire not just those who are "Over The Hill" , but everyone to get active and find their new adventures. Thanks for coming along on the journey!
