The scene she wrote this song for was the entire impetus for me making the film - the entire scene I wanted to make this movie for. I come up with stories based on specific moments that I want to earn; and I knew that this moment would require it to be told entirely through the music and visuals - and Katie just NAILED it <3. Also, we'll be releasing the full soundtrack (with all the profits going to both Katie and the film's amazing composer Amy Summers) on Monday on all platforms like Spotify and Apple Music, the day before the film releases!)

Seriously, this art absolutely whips (& even recontextualizes some Matrix imagery that also fits my film!) Gah, we're less than a week from the film's release on June 25th. Hi all! So it is OFFICIAL! I have gotten permission from Nebula to invite 12 people (and their +1) to the premiere of IDENTITEAZE! To make this fair, I'm starting off by opening it up to Patrons only, and I will do it by lottery. I'm so excited that we can have some of you with us to celebrate and be the first to see the film! I wish I could have all of you there!
To make things fair, there will be a lottery for 12 people (and a +1 each) to attend the premiere in Los Angeles on Monday, June 24th, starting at 6:30pm PT. If you're interested in attending, consider signing up for my Patreon to get a chance to enter the lottery. Not only does it help support me, but you get all the other Patron benefits, including this lottery. The lottery is open to all patrons (even if you just give a $1 and then immediately cancel) and is just a way to keep the potential entry pool to a manageable size for now!
Names will be selected on Sunday, June 16th, so make sure you sign up BEFORE Sunday to ensure you are entered into the lottery! I will be selecting 12 people completely at random, so no one gets preference.

HAPPY PRIDE MONTH YA QUEERS! I know it's a tough time for all of us right now, especially given the *looks around at the world*. And certainly, we have a ton of fights ahead of us. But remember that finding kindness, joy, and community is just as important as an act of resistance. These things remind us of what we are fighting for. The moments of kindness, caring, and community we create amongst ourselves on the small scare we are creating in microcosm today help show us the world we want to create for everyone tomorrow. Without doing that, we might not be able to see that brighter future to anticipate a world on the horizon. To me, being queer is not a present state of being - but instead future stuff - creating a world in ourselves and between ourselves that is of the future where we are not considered queer but just a part of the beautiful diversity of the world. <3
On a personal note, this is also the month when IDENTITEAZE releases! It's only 25 short days away. I can't wait to show it to you all. I'm so proud of all the queer people who worked so hard on the film and whom I'm so lucky and honored to call the crew of IDENTITEAZE. I'm so proud of it and them and excited for you all to see it. Speaking of, Nebula and I have some fun surprises in store leading up to the film's release, so keep your eye out for any "glitches" that may appear on my channel in the next couple of weeks ;). But thank you, everyone, for just being the best community and giving me this chance to achieve a lifelong dream. I couldn't and wouldn't have been able to do this without all of you <3
