Based on your thoughtful comments I redid the mounting on my VHF/UHF antenna. I like this mount a lot more. Much stronger with better hardware. amzn.to/46GgJzp (this is an affiliate link)

What’s in your antenna quick fix kit?
In the picture. Length of wire for antenna radial or Adhoc antenna. Bnc to pig tail splitter (field antenna connector). Wire with alligator clip, clip it to metal and tune it up. Magnet for sticking wire to something ferrous. BNC adapters for coax. Coaxial power lead to power pole. USB-C PD 12v to coaxial adapter.

Hi All,
K6ARK and I are out on a fishing and radio adventure. Attempting to get a stream going, but it isn't looking good!

Have you wanted to get into Linux but found it too daunting? Tomorrow I’m going live with @KM4ACK to explain how to get started with Linux with his ham radio script #73linux. We’ll cover Winlink, APRS & WSJT-X github.com/km4ack/73Linux

I guess some got upsetty about my mentioning that MMSN was part of our voluntary band plan but that they also scare people off even when nothing is going on. I share this to balance my radio karma. Have fun on the radio today, it’s Friday and the weekend is going to be great. See you tomorrow for the Off-Grid Emergency Information Archive live stream (hat tip CJ-VA3 in #ham-memes on the HRCC Discord)
