Those latter are better than some alternatives (like substance use or self harm), however, they tune you OUT rather than IN. When you TUNE IN (as skills on this channel encourage) you can create a lasting peace, get to know yourself better, and feel more confident and comfortable in your own skin, rather than simply engaging in a time-limited distraction.
