ElkinsInboxInc is probably one of the dumbest MAGAts I ever found on YouTube. In addition to being (predictably) bigoted on Pride Month (as can be seen on his Twitter account), I also saw on his community tab that he was claiming that severe weather events in Kentucky, Missouri and Virginia are acts of "weather terrorism" (note: there is no such thing) and called for the arrest of National Weather Service director Ken Graham. Elkin, you're a red dot in a blue state! If you like Project 2025 this much, why don't you marry it?

I had to remove a comment on my upload of a "Maya and Miguel" episode that came from a YouTuber named emojimoviesucks. His comment, which I have translated in the third image, spreads the nonsensical (and baseless) accusation that Child Protective Services bootlick child sex trafficking rings, remove children from their families and put them in foster homes. It appears to cite a report from Nancy Schaefer (1936-2010), an anti-abortion activist and homophobe who had campaigned for the placement of the Ten Commandments in all US classrooms, a direct violation of a clause in the 1st Amendment that separates church and state.

WASHINGTON (AP)âA federal trade court on Wednesday blocked President Donald Trump from imposing sweeping tariffs on imports under an emergency-powers law.
The ruling from a three-judge panel at the New York-based Court of International Trade came after several lawsuits arguing Trump has exceeded his authority, left U.S. trade policy dependent on his whims and unleashed economic chaos.
âThe Worldwide and Retaliatory Tariff Orders exceed any authority granted to the President by IEEPA to regulate importation by means of tariffs," the court wrote, referring to the 1977 International Emergency Economic Powers Act.
The White House did not immediately respond to a message seeking comment. The Trump administration is expected to appeal.
At least seven lawsuits are challenging the levies, the centerpiece of Trumpâs trade policy.
Tariffs must typically be approved by Congress, but Trump says he has the power to act because the countryâs trade deficits amount to a national emergency. He imposed tariffs on most of the countries in the world at one point, sending markets reeling.
The plaintiffs argued that the emergency powers law does not authorize the use of tariffs, and even if it did, the trade deficit does not meet the lawâs requirement that an emergency be triggered only by an "unusual and extraordinary threat." The U.S. has run a trade deficit with the rest of the world for 49 consecutive years.
Trump imposed tariffs on most of the countries in the world in an effort to reverse Americaâs massive and longstanding trade deficits. He earlier plastered levies on imports from Canada, China and Mexico to combat the illegal flow of immigrants and the synthetic opioids across the U.S. border.
His administration argues that courts approved then-President Richard Nixonâs emergency use of tariffs in 1971, and that only Congress, and not the courts, can determine the "political" question of whether the presidentâs rationale for declaring an emergency complies with the law.
Trumpâs Liberation Day tariffs shook global financial markets and led many economists to downgrade the outlook for U.S. economic growth. So far, though, the tariffs appear to have had little impact on the worldâs largest economy.
The lawsuit was filed by a group of small businesses, including a wine importer, V.O.S. Selections, whose owner has said the tariffs are having a major impact and his company may not survive.
A dozen states also filed suit, led by Oregon. âThis ruling reaffirms that our laws matter, and that trade decisions canât be made on the presidentâs whim,â Attorney General Dan Rayfield said.

German-born filmmaker Marcel Ophuls is dead. His grandson, Andreas-Benjamin Seyfert, said he died of natural causes Saturday at his southwestern French home after watching a favorite film of his with his family. He was nominated for an Academy Award in 1972 for the documentary âThe Sorrow and the Pityâ, a two-part, four-and-a-half-hour, black-and-white production debunking the myth that France resisted Nazi occupation during World War II. That myth had been constructed by French President Charles De Gaulle at the end of the war, and the filmâs debunking of it proved so controversial in that nation that it was banned from being presented on French television until 1981. Keeping with the theme of Nazism in his filmmaking, he went on to make âHotel Terminus: The Life and Times of Klaus Barbieâ, a portrait of the Nazi war criminal that won the 1988 Oscar for Best Documentary Feature. Marcel Ophuls was 97 years old.
