The Green Climate Fund (GCF) – a key element of the historic Paris Agreement – is the world’s largest multilateral climate fund, mandated to support developing countries raise and realise their Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) ambitions towards low emission, climate-resilient development pathways. GCF is an operating entity of the financial mechanism of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), contributing to the goal of keeping an average global temperature rise well below 2 degrees Celsius.
