The Legal Innovation Lab Wales within Swansea University’s Hillary Rodham Clinton School of Law is a research centre funded by the European Regional Development Fund through the Welsh Government and Swansea University.
The Lab builds upon Swansea University’s leading research in LegalTech, counterterrorism, defence and security, providing a unique space for academia-industry collaborations, cutting-edge research and innovative co-development of new legal technology. An Artificial Intelligence laboratory, a Cyber Threats research suite and a LegalTech Research and Development centre bring academic knowledge and research capacity to legal practice.
Working in partnership with organisations across the legal sector, our vision is to support the growth and sustainability of a vibrant LegalTech economy, improve access to justice, transform the delivery of legal services in Wales and beyond, and help grow an open, inclusive and collaborative LegalTech community.
