Bill Rosendahl has represented the 11th District on the Los Angeles City Council since July 2005. He was elected with a mandate for positive change, and has been a forceful advocate for neighborhood empowerment and better government.
As the voice of the Westside in City government, Rosendahl has been a champion of: enhanced public safety; mass transit and traffic improvement projects; environmental protection; and affordable housing. He has fought for a community-friendly modernization of LAX, pension reform, and government transparency.
Rosendahl currently chairs the council's Transportation Committee, and serves on the Budget & Finance Committee, and the Trade, Commerce and Tourism Committee. He lives in Mar Vista.
