It's trueâthe Holy Spirit doesn't abandon believers because of their mistakes. But His continued presence doesn't mean His influence can't be diminished by the way we choose to live. Here are 3 behaviors that diminish His influenceâŚ
#1 - Sins of Commission
These are the things we do that we shouldnât. See: Galatians 5:19â21.
Consider how your thoughts, actions, and attitudes might be compromised or outright sinful.
#2 - Sins of Omission
These are the things we should do that we donât. See: James 4:17. Donât try to negotiate with the Holy Spirit. Once He speaks, obey.
#3 - Ignoring His Presence.
We often fail to acknowledge His presence in our lives. We ought to be more like Moses. See: Exodus 33:15. The Holy Spirit is always there, rarely acknowledged. Awareness of His presence will change the way you live.
