You may, at times, feel like you’ve lost your fire for God, but God hasn’t lost His fire for you. The Holy Spirit is more patient than we are flawed, more loving than we are stubborn.

Christians are like mirrors. In order to reflect the light of Christ, we must face Christ. As the Holy Spirit reveals Jesus to you, you become more like Him.

The Holy Spirit does not abandon the believer because of a sinful mistake; He abides within the believer to correct it. He doesn’t leave; He grieves.

It's true—the Holy Spirit doesn't abandon believers because of their mistakes. But His continued presence doesn't mean His influence can't be diminished by the way we choose to live. Here are 3 behaviors that diminish His influence…

#1 - Sins of Commission

These are the things we do that we shouldn’t. See: Galatians 5:19–21.
Consider how your thoughts, actions, and attitudes might be compromised or outright sinful.

#2 - Sins of Omission

These are the things we should do that we don’t. See: James 4:17. Don’t try to negotiate with the Holy Spirit. Once He speaks, obey.

#3 - Ignoring His Presence.

We often fail to acknowledge His presence in our lives. We ought to be more like Moses. See: Exodus 33:15. The Holy Spirit is always there, rarely acknowledged. Awareness of His presence will change the way you live.

I cover these in more detail, as well as two more behaviors that Push the Holy Spirit Away (Without You Realizing) in my latest teaching. Watch the Full and Free teaching here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjdPF...

When it comes to the power of the Holy Spirit, it’s not time to tone it down; it’s time to raise the volume. So what if you’re regarded as strange?

If the Holy Spirit loves you enough to be grieved by your disobedience, then the Holy Spirit loves you enough to be pleased by your obedience. The Holy Spirit doesn’t just speak against the things we shouldn’t do; He also calls our attention to what we should become. He points to a standard to which we should aspire. The Holy Spirit doesn’t just convict of sin—He also convicts of righteousness.
