If you don’t care about the lives of others and what we can do to liberate ourselves collectively: THIS IS NOT A SAFE SPACE FOR YOU.
I’ve tip-toed around this subject in hopes of remaining kind and collected, but I’m at a point where being kind about it is not an option. Being kind while trying to get people to care about victims of multiple GENOCIDES is not an option. Being kind to others who remain SILENT and could not be bothered to refrain from buying from certain corporations(who exploit their workers and perpetuate violence against BIPOC and marginalized communities) is NOT AN OPTION.
If you don’t feel comfortable with me inserting a literal 5 minute reminder in my videos, then please find the exit and fast. If me mentioning the word “boycott” raises your blood pressure or activates defensive energy within you, then unsubscribe. I would gladly escort you if possible.
I hate to have to make a post about this in such a way, but this needs to be said. This is very unlike the posts I’ve made in the past, and I apologize of this comes off as “abrasive”, but my tone in reference to human lives is very much appropriate and valid. I have no tolerance for anyone who argues otherwise.
And for people who don’t have lives and want to sit up and argue with people about why they think it’s okay to turn a blind eye to the atrocities of the world, here’s my response: pick up a book and educate yourself, babes❤️ Until then, there are multiple nail channels and content creators that you can watch who won’t utter a WORD about it🙂↕️
For a lot of people, they’ve only just truly become aware of the reality of the world. I understand how difficult it may be to wrap your head around the injustices being committed by our govt. leaders. But for a lot of us, this is our history, our culture, the stories of our mothers and fathers…please understand the level of exhaustion that some may feel when trying to get people to care about their lives being threatened. I hope that with time, empathy, and education, you can come around to understanding the depth of white supremacy and neo-colonialism.
Thank you to everyone who has been supportive in my efforts to bring these issues to light, as it’s been hard to balance beauty and ugliness. I will continue to do what I can where I can, and I hope that you continue to do the same💕
