A few years ago, I created an online trend set out to capture something special in New York - people’s reactions to my walk through the city, where I showcased my elegant style and always had a fresh blowout. Armed with nothing but my iPhone hidden behind me, I wandered through the magical streets of SoHo, UES, Midtown, Downtown, and Seaport. Each neighborhood had a different energy and charm, and I wanted to capture the unique style of New Yorkers while walking confidently in my own.
The reactions were unforgettable- some gave me evil eyes, while others smiled, complimented, or even joined in on the fun. But through it all I realized one thing: there is nothing like a great Hairstyle and healthy, clean hair to give you that unshakable confidence. It wasn’t just about the outfit or the streets I was walking on - it was how my hair made me feel. It was the secret ingredient that helped me walk taller, feel more elegant and shine brighter.
That moment of clarity, where my confidence was rooted in my hair, led me to create Fivessi. Fivessi is a name that comes from my family, and it’s a name that will live forever. With it, I wanted to give people sense of empowerment and elegance. And as for “ Girl made of Rose” - it holds a special story, inspired by my grandmother, Rose, who taught me the importance of grace and beauty. It’s also my Instagram handle, where I share journey and the joy of embracing your own unique style.
The scent in Girl made of Rose shampoo and conditioner comes from my grandmother’s garden always filled with beautiful flowers, especially Roses. The fragrance brings back memories of her presence and warmth of those moments, while the bottle design is inspired by perfume she wore when I was a little girl.
The name Hair Goddess NYC holds the secret to my confidence - it’s in the Hair. Fivessi is more than just a brand; it’s a reflection of my roots, my journey, and a belief that healthy, beautiful hair is the key to true confidence.
