My dear viewers! I have managed to finish the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. I will have much more detailed stats when I finish processing all the episodes, but I can tell you that it took me about 40-45 hours to complete.
I will definitely make a few videos to go over all of my opinions about the Shadow of the Erdtree but, overall, I can tell you that it is magnificent. I enjoyed it a lot and I believe that it is one of the best gaming experiences that we have available, specially taking into consideration that it costs $40. FromSoft decided to give us a full game and charge half price for it.
At this time, I will be going into full-time production of the playthrough so I can have all episodes uploaded as soon as possible. I will continue with the system of one episode a day. Once I finish uploading everything, I might switch it to two per day. that said, I am not sure about this.
After the whole playthrough has been organized, I will be making a few videos on different opinions about the game.
- Is it really too hard?
- The philosophy of the main bosses
- Remembrance Bosses: Death statistics and my general strategies
- A return to my predictions to see how right or wrong I was
There will be more, but these are the most prevalent ideas that I want to produce.
Of course, there will be a lot of builds. As always, the first thing to do is update my STR/FTH build. The DLC provided a lot of tools to improve upon so I will be doing so. After that, I will update others. For example, Holy Hands Hank now gets actual martial arts so I need to revisit him.
I will also continue to make guides on mechanic. Believe it or not, there are a few more that I have yet to talk about.
In any case, there will be a lot of content coming to the channel and I will be covering Elden Ring until death do us part. I guess I am married to this game.

My dear viewers! Today is a good day. It is my absolute honor to advise that, according to internal channel statistics, we have reached a total of 10,000 subscribers. Specifically, at the time of my writing this post, there are 10,002 subscribers.
There is a lot that I could say, but it would just be a repetition of much of what I have said before.
When I started this channel, it was an experiment. The goal was simple: see if I can manage a small venture of content creation. The objective I laid out for myself was 10,000 subscribers. This was to be a proof of concept of my own ability and capacity to captivate an audience and build a community.
Well... here we are. I truly want to thank all of those that are part of this community. Those that were there from the very beginning, with Monster Hunter guides, and those that joined during the Elden Ring era. Each and every one of you is an indispensable part of this success.
In the large scheme of things, 10K subscribers is insignificant. That being said, in my world, my reality, you are the absolute best group of 10,002 individuals that have ever banded together.
Of course, the question begs itself... what is the next step?
The truth is that my current employment makes it very difficult to set a solidified and consistent schedule for content creation. For context, I am a lawyer. I specialize in United States Immigration Law and Legal Translation. This is very time consuming and, since it is the activity that supports my living, I have to prioritize it.
That being said, I acknowledge the incredible amount of support that you have shown and that deserves additional effort from my part. I will try to set aside one or two hours every night to work on videos. This, I can promise.
Furthermore, I have a friend who, on more than one occasion, mentioned that I should do a special live stream. This idea terrifies me but... I have to agree that she is right. I have no idea where to begin with this, but I will do what I always do: sit down and research.
This is all for now. I am very proud of what this channel turned into. I am very proud of my viewers.

My dear viewers! I want to give you a quick update on the coming days.
Personally, I have covered everything that interested me in regards to the Gameplay Trailer for Shadow of the Erdtree. I analyzed the trailer, I analyzed the possible size of the DLC, and I analyzed the possible application of the new leveling system that Miyazaki mentioned. I am satisfied.
That being said, is there anything further that you would like me to go over? Do not hesitate to comment what interest you and I will take a look to see if we can get a video out of it.
Otherwise, I will go to the drawing board to set up a new build guide. I got struck with a bit of inspiration and I think that we can produce something special. I definitely want to make a build.
Nevertheless, the build video will take some time because I have to pause creation for about a week. I am traveling to Spain to visit my family, specially my mother.
As you know, my mother was diagnosed with kidney cancer on January 2023. On February of the same year, she underwent surgery and had her kidney removed (and the cancer with it). Fortunately, she has been cancer free for over a year but I do want to go a check in on her.
Once I am back in the United States, I will get the build going or, if you have any good ideas, go over something else for Shadow of the Erdtree. Let me know.

It is a form of content that I am attempting for the first time. Much shorter than my usual guides, and without the hassle of my spoken voice. I am trying to provide a quick and easily accessible guide to the different weapons in the game. You need to check up on a specific move? It is here. Are you wondering how the weapon would perform with the Bleed infusion? You can find it here. Unsure as to the location of the weapon? Also here.
The most important factors to consider:
1. Did you find it useful?
2. Is it easy to consult the information you would need?
3. Do you believe that it needs more details (for example, additional frame data)?
I am doing this test with the Longsword, a simple weapon, but this kind of guide can be replicated with every weapon in the game. Of course, weapons with special effects or with special characteristics would have additional sections in their video. The more complex the weapon, the more information there will be.
I am very interested in your opinion and point of view.
If reception of this content is overall positive, there is a lot of good information that we can put on the table to improve the skills of all players.
If reception of this content is NOT overall positive, then I will take the L and go back to the drawing board to improve it. This is why your input is valuable.

My dear viewers! According to internal channel statistics, we are at 9,002 subscribers. This absolutely fantastic.
The following message will be long, but there are things that I want to leave in writing.
Initially, I started the channel as an experiment. I would upload some video game playthroughs, some Co-Op playthroughs with a friend, and I would do a lot of Monster Hunter guides. Monster Hunter World Iceborne received most of my attention. Then it was Monster Hunter Rise. These games served as a way to see that I enjoyed making informative content on video games. I really like making guides. Useful guides. Informative guides. Honest guides. With evidence and formulas and calculations.
Then... Demon's Souls Remake was released on the PS5. Without a doubt, this is the game that initially boosted my channel by a considerable margin. In fact, my most popular videos, and those with the best statistics, continue to be Demon's Souls guides. This game helped me become a better content creator by showing me what I was good at and, most importantly, what I was NOT good at. It solidified my desire to make guides, but also showed me the style that I prefer to follow when making this type of content.
Finally, Elden Ring was released and this channel very quickly became and Elden Ring channel. The reason for this was simple. Elden Ring is a huge game with very complicated mechanics and that is EXACTLY what benefits my content. It is the perfect game to make guides about. I did not intend to become an Elden Ring channel, but I definitely see why it happened. This also does not mean that the channel will remain as a Elden Ring channel forever, but it will be so for the foreseeable future. I mean... Eventually another game will come out that will ensnare my attention. But for now, it has not happened yet.
I want my channel to be a source of information for every player. I try to avoid misinformation. I try to explain the "why" of everything that I put on my videos. I do not say something that I cannot verify on my own, preferably with visual proof or, even better, with pen and paper on my desk. I pride myself on respecting my viewers' time by trying to keep my content as useful as possible. The objective is simple: once a viewer watches my content, they should be more knowledgeable than before. And if not, they should be able to ask for more information in the comments.
I am not afraid to respond to all comments. I am not afraid to answer all questions. But, most importantly, I am not afraid of being wrong. Because sometimes I will be wrong, but I know that my viewers will be there to teach me. And then, better content will be created through the combination of everyone's knowledge.
When the channel got a bit of traction, and I reached 1000 subscribers, I set a goal for myself. The goal is 10,000 subscribers. In the large scheme of things, the goal is not really complicated; but for myself, in the vacuum of my own experience, it means the certification that there is actually something here. There is something that this channel is doing right. That viewers want to learn more. That means a lot to me, and it is a huge driving factor to continue making content, of the same quality, regardless of how little time I have to invest in it.
With the current tally of 9000 subscribers, the goal is within sight. It is very important. The fact of the matter remains that, regardless of my work and my effort, this is becoming a reality because of you, the viewer. The time that you decide to invest in watching my content and the support that you show it is the cornerstone of the success that this channel is seeing. No matter how little, success is success; and no matter how tiny, support is support.
For this reason I want to express my utmost gratitude to you for being part of the support system that drives this channel. I am not sure what I will do once we reach the 10,000 subscribers mark. I will have to sit down and think about what my intentions and objectives are. But I am fully confident that we will get there, thanks to all of your efforts.

My dear viewers! With the successful upload of the "How To Make A Build", I have finished a series where I explained every single Elden Ring Stat, as well as its most common and useful mechanics, all to reach the objective of showing the process of how I make the builds that you can see in this channel.
I am proud of how everything came out, and I really hope that you are able to find the information useful.
The next two videos will be build guides. It has been a long time since I made builds guides so it is appropriate to make a strong effort in this type of content.
The results of the latest poll put the ARC/FTH caster as the winner, so we will start with the Dragon Priest first and the continue with the full faith priest caster.
That said, once I finish these two builds, I am fresh out of ideas. I have no clue what other build-types I could try. Do not hesitate to drop your recommendations or ideas below. I also take cool lore and backstory bits as inspiration.

My dear viewers! The time has come to organize the next few video uploads.
The first thing that I will be working on is a complete guide that details the process that I follow when I am making a build in Elden Ring. Now that the most important Stats and Mechanics have been explained in the channel, each and every one of you has the tools to make the perfect build that fits your playstyle best. I am sure that all of you have cool ideas for builds and I am interested in hearing about them. My hope is that, if I explain my process, it will inspire other players to generate more ideas. It will be the culmination of all of the other guides in the channel, bringing all the knowledge together. Hopefully it turns out to be useful.
And then... we need to get back to build videos. At this time, I have notes on two builds: Pure Faith Caster, and ARC/FTH Dragon Caster. Once I finish the "How to make a build" video, I will move on to these two build guides. That means that you need to decide what you would like to see first so, let's get a poll going.

My dear viewers! Content creation has resumed.
It has been a long while since I have been able to make a video. Work has been hectic and it took up much of my time. Fortunately, I have been able to get it under control and properly organize myself.
The plan is to continue where I left off and explore more of the different aspects of Elden Ring. Furthermore, I have not made a build in a while, so I will draw up a few new ones to share with you.
Hopefully I can get a rhythm and it will take us into the DLC. I have suspicions that we will get a release date at the Game Awards. With some luck, we can get it for early next year.
My returning video is a guide on the Mimic. This is my favorite summon in the game and probably the strongest one. It is very interesting because it has multiple special characteristics that depend on the player. So the better your build is, the better your Mimic will be.
Next is going to be an update on the Poise video. While 1.10 did not change a lot in regards to the theory, it did change some things in the PvP side of things that need to be reviewed. The original video is still valid for the theoretical and conceptual information, but some formulas need to be double checked. It should not be a long video, but it is important.
And of course, I have to express my gratitude to all of you. Each and every one of you has shown incredible patience and it means a lot to me. Thank you for your support and consideration.

My dear viewers! I am sure that you have noticed that I have not been very active on the channel lately. For this, I offer my most sincere apologies.
The truth of the matter is that I have been overly busy with my work. Specifically, I have been hired to work out of state for three days a week (this is in the Tri-State area of the United States). This has increased my work hours, but also my commute hours. The result is that I have much less time to spend researching topics and producing videos. On the other hand, the money is really good so I could not refuse this contract.
I understand that this is not an excuse. It is just an explanation. I have had a hard time organizing spaces in the week in which I can spend on Elden Ring research. Furthermore, I have been playing Diablo 4 (I am a bit disappointed) and Baldur's Gate 3 (I am extremely satisfied - this game rocks). This is simply my own fault and I am making efforts to return to the content.
And yet... you are still watching the videos that have already been uploaded and subscribing to the channel. That speaks volumes of your support and I am out of words to express my gratitude. I ask that you have a bit more patience, and I will provide the best content that I can muster.

My dear viewers! With Patch 1.10 live for Elden Ring, it is important to make a note about the Poise Guide. Please see below.

This guide is STILL VALID after Patch 1.10 for MOST of its parts -
Patch 1.10 was released on July 27, 2023. This patch makes a few changes to Poise in PVP ONLY:
- Increased Poise Damage for Weapons and some Spells
- Increased Hyper Armor for those Weapons and Spells that already have them
- Increased Damage Absorption / Reduction when Hyper Armor is active
(PVP ONLY) This means that there are modifications to the Formula that Calculates Poise Damage; and also modifications to the Formula that Calculates Hyper Armor. As a result, these two formulas in the video will need to be updated. Furthermore, the examples and calculations that I provide in the video will also need to be updated. (PVP ONLY)
THAT SAID...
The theory, mechanics and explanations all continue to be correct and up to date. The images that I show you were created in a PvE environment, so they continue to be true and correct.
All in all, this video is still fully capable of teaching you everything you need to know about Poise. Nevertheless, I will begin work in researching the changes to PvP Poise Damage and to PvP Hyper Armor Calculations. I will produce and ADDENDUM video as soon as I can.
