Again, after trying to upload a song that is under the public domain license, it was blocked worldwide.
With his unfortunate death of the composer Anestis Delias in 1944, the 70 years from his passing is well beyond, but still these recordings are claimed or even blocked when users upload a video that contains a part or the whole song. Making disputes and appeals with the threat of a copyright strike is not a huge issue for now, since my channel is small, but I imagine if I had built something bigger it would be very stressfull to chase those issuesand risk it everytime. So, without disputes, the ones that are the reason for the copyright claims and blocks are winning, even though they are the ones that claim ownership for something that belongs to all.
It is worth noting that the previous disputes for the short videos containing songs of Delias were successful, and the restrictions were lifted, but this bakes the question, do the ones that makes false claim on ownership have consequences too?
For now, all I can do is post this, dispute the block and wait to see the outcome if they unblock the song or not.
