FINAL CALL TO ALL DANCERS!
World ballet day is paused this year until 2025 and we’ll be putting together a video in lieu of the usual livestreams featuring dancers and students of all ages and skill levels.
We need some footage of YOU, the ballet nerds, in daily class, rehearsal, or whatever else your school/company is working on this season.

DANCERS, WE NEED YOUR HELP! [read to the end]
Ladies and Gentlemen, it has come to our sad attention that the wonderful World Ballet Day streaming event is paused this year until 2025 😭😭 So many of us look forward to celebrating this special event; watching the live broadcasts, admiring our favorite dancers, and connecting with our fellow ballet nerds worldwide.
In light of this (devastating) news, we need your help, dancers, to bring the ballet community together this year on November 2nd, 2024.
We hereby raise you: World Ballet [nerd] Day 2024.
With World Ballet [nerd] Day (WBnD), we want to open the opportunity for dancers of all ages and skill levels in all parts of the world to share their love for ballet with a global audience. We will be putting together a video of what ballet nerds all around the world (you) are working on for the upcoming season.
To all of our dancers reading this, no matter your age and skill level, we encourage you to join us for World Ballet [nerd] Day! If you or your school/company is interested in participating, fill out the application form linked below. Application deadline is October 14, 2024.

The whole ballet world mourns the sudden passing of Michaela Mabinty DePrince (1995 - 2024, at age 29), a beautiful star and pioneering ballerina who overcame unbelievable odds and changed the ballet world forever.
We ourselves were shocked and greatly saddened by the news, she was certainly gone too soon. We want to dedicate this video to her, and also to her adoptive mother, Elaine DePrince (1947 - 2024), who truly showed the world the beauty and transformative power of a mother's love. May both women rest in power.
Sending all our love to Michaela and Elaine's family and friends; we're behind y'all, we support y'all. Please leave them your kind comments below to bring them peace and comfort during this time.

A sincere, heartfelt thanks to all of you who left such kind comments on our recent dance reveal video. We were truly so touched and overwhelmed by the love, kind words and encouragement from y’all. Thank you sm <3
We were glad to hear that it resonated with a lot of you, and for us it was good to (finally) share our dancing after nearly two years lol. There is so much more to come and we’re excited to continue to share the process and more of our dancing with you.
Just posting this made us realize we are so lucky to be able to meet people like y’all on our youtube and ballet journey. We love how this community has grown to inspire and help one another grow no matter where we are in each stage of life.
We love y’all so much and are looking forward to all the ballet-nerding to come.
