These drawings are done from interviews that are moving using the traditions of gesture and contour drawing.
I am hoping to capture the subject matter as both an exercise in seeing and drawing and as a way of finding a deeper truth than what could be captured by referencing a static photo or trying to produce a hyper realism.
Over time the scope of what I am doing will grow and expand.
