KTM 300 EXC TPI SMR J - Update
When I originally specced the build, I specified Alpina Wheels. I have them on the SMR and like them. When I went to do the bike reveal, I was surprised to see a different set of wheels (KTM power parts), actually only the front was there. It appears that the guy who took the order, who left the KTM centre, got the order wrong. Not to delay the build, I agreed to it. They said the back wheel should be with them in 3 days, 3 days became 5 weeks with KTM unable to fulfil the order.
A couple of days ago I decided enough is enough and asked them to order the Alpinas as originally planned. As the factories in Europe are closed in August, the bike should be ready early September. If I knew it would be the case, I would have never revealed it in the first place.
