Simone is an actress and singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada. Her first big break came about when she was cast as a lead character in the âCBC Kidsâ Digital Original adventure series; Detention Adventure. Since then she has been cast as young âDorinda Clarkâ in the Lifetime movie âThe Clark Sistersâ (exec. producers include: Queen Latifah & Mary J. Blige), the hilarious âWorkin Momsâ, and recently finished filming CBCâs âRun The Burbs.â
Simone 1st got her feet wet in the music industry when she was given the opportunity (once the producers discovered she had a great voice), to sing on one of the tracks entitled âLionessâ in the 8th episode for Detention Adventure Season 2. From there she has also had the opportunity to write for well-known, up and coming artistsâ in the Japanese market. Simone has been working diligently towards writing and composing original music and has released two songs to date, entitled âDry Eyesâ (produced by Rob Wells), & âOlderâ (produced by DR).
