There is something about being in the wild that draws us back to our roots, reminds us that we are not as far removed from nature as we often believe. As much as we try to shelter ourselves from the natural world, at our core we know that we were meant to feel the rain on our skin, the sun on our face, the wind in our ears. Our humanness is bound to nature in a deep, unyielding way.
All of us can learn and grow from time in the outdoors, but children blossom the most with the freedom, the excitement, the beauty of wild places. That all of us know and love the simple beauty of nature, the things that cost nothing and feed our souls the most, is my wish.
Follow along on our journey of family and nature.
Thanks!
