Feeding the Wife: Who eats this stuff? Edition:
As many of you know, I cook all our meals and aim to make them not only delicious but also supportive of optimal cellular and metabolic function. I enjoy using a variety of spices and vegetables, maintaining a diverse rotation of whole foods in our diet. This approach benefits our health by promoting a robust and diverse gut microbiome.
One excellent spice I frequently use is turmeric, especially raw turmeric root. Turmeric contains curcumin, a powerful antioxidant with numerous health benefits. While I don't believe in single "fix-all" foods, I advocate for a varied, whole foods diet that provides a wide range of beneficial compounds.
Take a close look at your diet—it plays a crucial role in the prevalence of chronic illnesses in the US. By making thoughtful food choices, we can significantly improve our health and well-being.
Or just live with me and I’ll keep ya healthy!🤣

When the world faced the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020, we recognized a growing demand for self-sufficiency. Nestled in the hills of Southern Pennsylvania, our homestead, The Dinosaur Omelette, became a hub for efficient food production, especially for those with limited land. Angela takes pride in raising quality Silkie chickens, hand-raised and bred for exceptional temperament and form, making them wonderful pets.
To us, the Jumbo Quail is the unsung hero of food production in the U.S. In a culture dominated by chickens, we embraced the challenge of introducing these remarkable birds and are delighted to see their popularity rise as prolific egg producers for all.
Our mission is to share knowledge, inspire, and equip our viewers with practical skills. Your feedback is essential, and we're dedicated to providing valuable content for the small farm and homestead community. For more information and to connect with us directly, visit our Facebook page.
