The HRTC bus from Kullu to Kaza is resuming service from tomorrow, 01/07/2024. This bus travels from Kullu to Kaza via Manali, Atal Tunnel, Koksar, Chhatru, Batal, Kunzum Pass & Losar, before finally reaching Kaza.

Route Details:
Distance: 224 kilometers
Duration: 12 hours
Fare: ₹500/-

Timings:
From Kullu: Departs at 4:30 AM, leaves Manali at 6:00 AM, and reaches Kaza by 4-5 PM.
From Kaza: Departs at 5:00 AM for Manali and Kullu.

Last year, the service started on 4th July. A trial was conducted on 18th June this year, but the bus service couldn't start due to poor road conditions at that time. The BRO has now improved the road, allowing the service to resume.

This bus provides a cost-effective alternative to expensive taxi fares for both the residents of the tribal district Lahaul-Spiti and tourists.
