Outfits, Home Decor + Life in Japan ā„ļø
LIFE:
Born in Brazil, moved to USA, went to school in the East Coast, got my dream career job as a Creative Director and VP of Design, fell in love with my best friend, got legally married in Vegas (Elvis impersonator and allāso much fun and I highly recommend it!), had a dream wedding in Rio de Janeiro, got pregnant in California, then moved to Japan at the hight of the pandemic while I was 6 months pregnant with my first child. My daughter, Alani, was born in Japan in 2020. *phew*
WHY THE NAME DIRTYLACE?:
I had a lingerie & jewelry brand named DirtyLace. "DirtyLace" represents a union of opposites, and the acceptance that as a woman you can be both strong and fragile, dominant and gentle, headstrong yet open-minded. That mantra applies to not only my personality, but my approach to fashion (tomboy meets fashionista) and life decisions (give me stability but make it adventurous).
