WHAT'S TO COME!
Just wanted to give everyone a quick update on the channel -
As you might have noticed, many of the recent posts have been trailers that I’ve redone. The Hired Hand is the last of these - it’s one of my favorite westerns of all time, so if you’re new to the channel or have never heard of the film, I hope it’s earned a place on your watchlist! I’m really proud of the newly revamped trailer I’ve put out.
Moving forward, everything upcoming will be brand new work, so I hope you keep checking back on the first of each of month, I’ve got some stuff cooking I can’t wait to share with everyone!
A little tease of what’s to come this year in 2025 -
A highly obscure road movie from the 1980’s
A Cinemascope revenge western from the 1950’s
A B+W medieval epic from the 1960’s
Underlooked 80’s neon-drenched Sci-Fi
A long unavailable dream-like horror film
A glorious dystopian cult classic B-movie
And more :)
2025 IS GOING TO BE AWESOME!!!

2024 was an incredible year for Physical Media and film lovers!
9 of my wishlist titles were released this year, many of them in glorious new 4K restorations -
I Am Cuba 4K
Paper Moon 4k
Gummo 4K
Phase IV 4K (With the lost ending restored)
The Straight Story 4K
The Keep 4K
The Rain People
Shotgun Stories
Candy Mountain
The list below represents some of my most wanted titles that still haven't got a physical release (Many of them have never seen any kind of HD upgrade yet at all). You can bet that if any of these are released in the future, they would all be contenders for the DM Edit trailer treatment!
If you have your own Wishlist titles I'd love to hear them!

That’s a wrap on 2024!
Below are all the modern trailers I've released this year, I hope you’ve enjoyed them as much as I’ve enjoyed making them!
Or is everyone tired of all these trailers yet?
Please chime in and let me know what you’d like to see more of next year -
More community posts?
Film recommendations/lists?
30 second TV spots?
Less serious/joke trailers for B-movies?
Do you prefer the trailers that are more faithful and only use the original music?
Or just keep doing what I'm doing?
I’m not sure what next year will hold - I doubt I will be able to keep up the pace of one a month in 2025, but I’d still love to hear from anyone that follows my little channel here!

MID YEAR UPDATE -
Reached a small milestone this month with 5K subscribers!
Can’t even begin to tell you how humbled I am that I get to share my passion of cinema with so many of you. The positivity and support has meant the world to me.
Just a quick update about the channel - No one may have noticed but I’ve removed a small handful of older works. Mainly because I feel that I’ve grown a lot as an editor since I started making and sharing these, and some of those early trailers were not representative of the best work that I can do. Not to mention, the films deserve better.
Later this year, I plan on sharing new and revamped trailers for a few of those that I removed. If there’s any longtime fans of the channel you might even know which films they are - needless to say I am very excited to put them out into the world (again).
I hope you all keep looking forward to the new updates - there is still so much great cinema to highlight. On July 1st I am going to upload a new 4K modern trailer which has probably been THE MOST REQUESTED TRAILER EVER from me. Please keep commenting, liking, and giving me your suggestions - I love hearing from all of you!
Here’s to another 5K!

Check out this write-up on DAZED about hallucinogenic Japanese cinema - Two of the seven movies talked about feature my trailers - my "Modern Trailer" for Pastoral: To Die In The Country, and my official trailer for Radiance Film's release of The Shape Of Night!

Proud to present the official trailer for the Radiance release of the Jean-Pierre Mocky Boxset!
Last month I posted my trailer for Litan, only to find out that Radiance was getting ready to release a boxset of the director's work!
It's wacky, wonderful and weird - mixing touches of Hitchcock, folk horror and absurdist humor into a totally unique blend. I also must say that Litan makes so much more sense now in the context of his other films. Anyone interested in my Litan trailer should check out this release!

More goodness from Radiance Films! I had a blast doing this trailer for their release of Black Tight Killers! Fans of my channel might know I did a "Modern Trailer" for Massacre Gun, by the same director - a favorite of mine!

2023 Wrap-Up -
What an incredible year it’s been! This tiny channel keeps growing steadily, so for anyone that is reading this - Thanks so much for the views, comments, likes, and suggestions. I’ve discovered some amazing films from you guys and I truly appreciate your encouragement to keep making these.
I’m so proud of each and every one of the 12 trailers I’ve shared here this year…. I’ve finally gotten to showcase a few of my absolute favorite films like Altman’s Images, Cutter’s Way, and Razorback (one of the finest B-movies of all time)… not to mention more Mann and Cimino!
So what’s next in 2024? Things are going to get pretty interesting around here - more ultra weird cinema, Polish dystopian sci-fi, a heist/road movie, jungle exploration, knife wielding killers, nuns possessed by the devil… and that’s just for starters. Check back on the first of every month - it’s going to be awesome!
Just a quick PSA, please consider supporting my work here by buying me a coffee! Since I am not able to monetize this channel, a coffee is a small token of appreciation that really goes a long way - and coffee is pretty much the fuel behind every DM Edit.

Happy Holidays everyone, I hope you all had an amazing year as well - see you on the 1st!

Messiah Of Evil - Official Trailer for the new restoration by Radiance Films
Back in 2021 I gave Messiah Of Evil my "Modern Trailer" treatment, an underrated horror film if there ever was one. Now, I've gotten to do the official trailer for a brand new restoration of the film!
This only uses the original music from the film, and I have to say I might actually like it better than my "Modern" one. Are there any fans of this film here? What do you think?

These "Modern Trailers" are a personal project of mine, born purely out of my love for cinema. My goal is to take a selection of older, overlooked or forgotten films and breathe new life into them.
Many of the “classic” movies that I love have trailers that are outdated at best, and uninspiring at worst. I wanted to bring more awareness to these great films and give them a worthy showcase of their unique visions and visual artistry. A new coat of paint, if you will.
For me, these trailers are love letters to the kind of cinema that transformed & inspired me. I hope they encourage more people to seek them out. Plus, I think they’re rad.
