in the future - u will be able to do some more stuff here,,,!! like pat catgirl- i mean um yeah... for now u can only see others's posts :c
For those of waiting for more Aprilia Tuareg 660 content, well, I hit a snag. I took the bike into the dealership for the first service because I thought the counter shaft seal was leaking. The dealership convinced me the oil I saw dripping from the bike after riding was chain lube. I didn't agree but I was not sure how to successfully argue the point.
So what did I do, I headed for Cali, resulting in confirmation the counter shaft was leaking by blowing it out. Now the bike is at a dealership in San Jose. I should never have listened to the dealership.
I can't wait for the repairs to be finished so I will be flying home for a month and then flying back to pick it up, at my expense. Some new bikes have issues, I get that. My BMWs had warranty issues. My biggest aggravation is I told my local dealership the bike had a problem and was blown off. Urrrr!
I already have several videos filmed on the Tuareg, including one about this issue. Once I return home I will get started on editing, so stand by for Tuareg content, both good and bad.
Cheers.

Hey all, thank you so much for supporting my channel by watching my videos and commenting. I have received some inquiries for stickers and a few for t-shirts. If you are interested in stickers and/or a t-shirt you can visit my Patreon page at Adv Matt. I have set up a way to receive a "donation" in exchange for stickers or t-shirts. I order t-shirts on an as needed basis. I should have stickers on hand, most of the time. I just ordered a new batch. I have also set up a nominal subscription on Patreon if you would like to watch ad free videos early. My current plan is to post every video to Patreon any time from a few days to a few weeks before it goes live on YouTube for anyone who might want to subscribe. I understand Patreon subscriptions can turn some people off so for now it will mostly be used to provide access to stickers and t-shirts. I may decide to create Patreon only behind the scenes and some personal life details explaining the last few years but I haven't decided on this yet. These videos are ones I don't want publicly released but I am willing to share within our community to hopefully continue to inspire, educate and entertain. One last thing. YouTube has been bugging me to setup member only perks through a subscription. If you have videos ideas, like the valve job on the KTM 390 Adventure, let me know. I can't guarantee I will be able to do it but it helps give me video ideas. I am trying to grow my channel and I am trying to do what I can to reach as many viewers as possible, so if these new ways to support the channel sound good, great. If not, then I still look forward to engaging with you all through comments on my videos. Have a great holidays season and I will see you out there!

Let me start this post by thanking all of my legacy subscribers for sticking with me and all my new subscribers for joining in. I appreciate and enjoy all the interactions I have with all of you through your comments. Thank you. I wanted to provide an update for the channel in the upcoming months and early next year. For background information, I have been posting videos over the last three years on the 1st, 11th and 21st of every month. Due to my locations and work I was unable to post on a weekly basis. That is about to change. In the last two months I have driven back and forth across the country from Virginia to California and back again. I had filmed as much as I could before I started all of this moving but I have ran out of content to edit so I will be silent for a few weeks while I get back to filming and get my life settled back in New Mexico.
I am taking an extremely extended break from work, more on that in later videos, and will be focusing on my channel for the foreseeable future. I have a lot of video ideas planned, beyond the 390 Adventure valve clearance check, and hope to continue to educate, inspire and entertain you along the way. I hope that I will continue to hit the mark with all of you as try to improve my content and get better at this craft I enjoy so much. Again thanks for tuning in. One last note, as I approach 10k subscribers I am planning a give away, I just haven't quite figured out what it should be. If you have some ideas for a 10k giveaway let me know in the comments. All the best, ride safe and see you out there.

Hey all, hope you are all doing well. I wanted to provide a channel update that will delay some of my planned vidoes. For background information, I lost my camera on the MABDR, Section 3 two weeks ago. I have replaced the lost camera with a new model but I ran into audio issues with the new camera. The first half of the video I filmed on a replacement exhaust for the 390 Adventure was completely unusable. I have to record it again which will take some time. I hope to have it posted by mid-May. So for now you will see Tenere content. For those of you that tune in for 390 Adventure content, don't worry, I have three videos I am working on now that will be released in the next few months along with the newer Tenere content. Get out and ride, ride safe, and I will see you out there.

Hey there. I have noticed YouTube is not pushing all of your comments my way. I just found another batch of comments that I didn't know existed. I am sorry for late replies. That is not my intention. I try to respond to everyone and I have been relying on comment notifications. If you have commented and I didn't respond, please don't take it personally, I didn't see it. I will do a better job of looking for new comments. Hope everyone is well and planning some epic adventures. Cheers and see you out there!

If you are a tall rider you will want to watch this. I am working on a video covering a handle bar replacement on the KTM 390 Adventure. I removed the stock handlebars in favor of a Pro Taper Contour 1 1/8" with the stock Suzuki/KTM bend. This handle bar upgrade will provide more cockpit space for taller riders. I had planned to release it tomorrow but the editing has taken much longer than expected and I had to replace the chain on my KTM, delaying the final filming session. Look for it to drop at the end of the month. Thanks for watching and I will see you out there!

My adventures around the North America riding an Aprilia Tuareg 660, KTM 390 Adventure and a Yamaha Tenere 700 motorcycle. I spend a lot of time riding offroad but I have also found a love for touring and seeing amazing sites. Adventure riding has gone from a passion to an obsession. Join me for my adventures. I can also be found on Instragram at advmattx2 and on Facebook at Adv Matt (but I don't really use Facebook much). As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
