Mostly everything I grew up believing was true was a lie. It was all created in my own mind. I didn't see the world for truly what it was.
I blamed everyone else for my problems because I didn't know who I was as a man. I am not ashamed to admit that. I wasn't ready to accept the world as it is but now I'm ready to.

Somebody brought up a very good point in a discussion online and it made me question the human mind even more. The discussion was about a celebrity that had got caught in some controversial stuff that went against what the person believed the celebrity didn't partake in and the person said "They wish they weren't exposed to so much truth about things because it's destroying their reality of what they believe the world to be." They always believed celebrities were more than just mere human beings and it makes me question these unrealistic expectations and pedestal we place on people in general. I don't want to do that anymore.
It's crazy when women shame a man for having a low body count when women only equate their value to their body because that's really the only way they get attention. Men aren't safe neither because we equate our value with the material possessions as well as our bodies and looks. I've come to accept the shallow world we live in.
With me getting older in life. I'm starting to realize things when it comes to people. Just because someone is friendly or you enjoy someone's company doesn't mean you need to hold onto them and keep a relationshipwith them for a long time. I held onto so many people that I should have been let go a long time ago but I was so adamant about having these true human connections that utterly doesn't exist anymore in today's time and it caused me a lot of pain for seeing people in a light they truly didn't deserve to be in. Some women that I had relations with should of just stayed one night stands or FWB but like I said the whole trying to do right by people and keep these human relationships that you believe is the true purpose of being a human being, which you would believe to be human connection is not something that many people get to keep amongst each other for life. Some people, wether that be friends or family grow apart as time goes on and people don't stay the same forever. It sucks to say this and I truly hate I have to say this but caring too much for people and trying to maintain relationships with people will get you fucked up. It sucks to say that in a world of 8 billion people you can't even trust your own.
