We, the staff and students of Assumption College, Autonomous, Changanassery pay our respects and tribute to His Grace Mar Joseph Powathil, Archbishop Emeritus of Changanassery, Syro Malabar Archeparchy who passed away on Saturday, 18 March 2023 at 1.17pm.
We deeply mourn the demise of His Grace Mar Joseph Powathil who was our College Manager from 1972-1977 and Patron from 1985 – 2007. His Grace who was the former President of the CBCI and KCBC, even after his retirement from the active Episcopal ministry on 19 March 2007, continued to nurture the college, staff and students through his paternal blessings and graceful guidance.
We, the Assumption family, place on record our heartfelt condolence on this occasion.
