The Pied Piper of Hamelin is a fascinating fairytale that has been around for ages. As a child I had read about it and wanted to see the place for myself from where the tragic story orginated.

Here are a few facts to know about this place.
✅️The popularity of these sculptures goes back to the medieval times.
✅️Pigs were brought from this farms to the market along the "pig street" which is today called the Sögesstraße.
✅️Its one of the most known landmarks and most Bremenians use this spot as the meeting point.
✅️Children love to ride the sculptures and aa you can see adults just use sit after a long day tour in Bremen. 😜
✅️One of the best spots to observe the hustle bustle of the street.
✅️It's so common for people in Bremen to arrange to meet up "by the pigs", that it's difficult to remember a time when they didn't say this!

Bremen is one of the most vibrant city and state of Germany. Its history, fairytale folklore and theme had always attracted me. And finally I made it to this beautiful town.
There were so many hindrances and surprises and as we made it to the city. It felt so pacifying to be in the midst of such energy and culture.
Coming from Odisha I had a few pointers of similarity that I felt. But I am gonna discuss them all with you very soon.
