Hey everyone! I’m going to repost last weekend’s bonus block of 60s commercials, as it was brought to my attention that two of the commercials were not actually from the 60s. I try to stay as accurate as I can & while that sadly means I’ll lose the comments you all have left, it makes the post more accurate.
I will, however, add in two NEW 60s commercials to fill the spots the others were & the others I’m removing will be added to a later weekend bonus block down the line!

Hey gang! Just wanted to say that if you ever come across one of my videos where the comments are turned off, just know that was YouTube doing that & not me! I try to catch it auto-doing that & fix it but in case I don’t, rest assured as soon as I catch it, I will turn comments back on! :)

Well, I’ve corrected the issue with Tuesday’s video. Looks like YouTube is enjoying turning off the ability to comment. I fixed it though so anyone can now comment away! Haha

So apparently, there was a comments issue on Thursday's video too. They weren't completely disabled but it was holding any that came in for whatever reason. I've corrected this issue. I guess it's something Youtube puts on there by default now so I'll just have to keep an eye out in the future. Anyway, comment away now!
And also, if anyone is interested, I've added a donate button to the About section of my channel. I'm an 100% non-profit & non-monetized channel but if anyone wants to tip or donate to assist in keeping the channel going (as it'll help me locate tapes to eventually post on here, etc.), the button is there if you feel like using it. No pressure at all! I'm also willing to accept donated tapes to pull commercials from & in fact, this week's special compilations were taken from some tapes donated by a close friend of mine! I'll be getting back to some more old Tonight Show tapes next week & who knows what will be next after those are all posted! ;)

While originally a personal page for myself, this Channel has evolved to include a slew of vintage television commercials! I post every Tuesday & Thursday (actual blocks from a certain date, editing out repeat commercials where I can) with a bonus compilation block (i.e. not necessarily straight from an on-air date but a compilation of my own creation) on Saturdays! I also post mentions of the updates (& occasional other vintage stuff like theater listings on the dates of the commercial blocks) on X (Twitter) @RedMtRetro, on Facebook as "Red Mountain Retro" & Instagram as "redmountainretro!" Look me up! :)
