Dr Peter Sjöstedt-Hughes is a philosopher of mind, lecturer, public speaker and essayist based at the University of Exeter in the UK. He is the author of Noumenautics (2015) and Modes of Sentience (2021), and the inspiration behind Marvel's inhuman superhero, Karnak.
Sjöstedt-Hughes has especial affinity for the Philosophy of Mind, Meta-Ethics, and Metaphysics in relation to Spinoza, Schopenhauer, Nietzsche, Bergson, Jaegwon Kim, and Alfred North Whitehead.
